The British Animal Honours 2013
Do you know an amazing animal that deserves to be honoured?
ITV is introducing The British Animal Honours 2013 to recognise the achievements of the world’s most extraordinary animals and those who work with them. Whether it’s fighting in a war, keeping our borders safe, helping the blind and disabled to live independently, or a sporting achievement, is there an animal you would like to nominate?
The British Animal Honours 2013 will be hosted by Paul O’Grady and filmed in front of a live audience who will get the chance to see the animals and their handlers as they pick up their trophies. Categories include the Bravery Award, the Military Service Award, the Inspirational Animal Award as well as the Superstar Animal Award and the Internet Star Award.
You have until Sunday, March 10 to get an official nomination form.

Maybe it's a hamster that bites off more than he can chew, a python that mistakes a draught excluder for a mate or a kitten that thinks the laundry basket is her toilet.

Dog-owners and their dogs urgently wanted
(Dog owners/walkers and their dogs wanted for brand new Channel 4 diet show)
Award-winning TV company Outline Productions are looking for dog-owners and their pooches to take part in a fun demonstration about exercise/diet for a new, primetime Channel 4 show. Must live in or near the London area and be available on Thursday 17th January.
We are looking for 20 dog enthusiasts and their dogs to take part, and the demonstration will involve a morning of outdoors exercise in West London led by a major Channel 4 talent. Whether you’re the proud owner of a Poodle or a Pug, a Great Dane or a Golden Labrador, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking to showcase UK pets who have remarkable abilities which outperform other pets or maybe your pet has a habit which other pets don't - such as weird ritual, food preference etc.
Or maybe your pet is special for a different reason. Has your pet been involved in an amazing story, a story which may inspire others or make them laugh if your pet is a comedian.
